Education
Adult Studies
Led by Pastor David Barber.
Daycare is provided.
Confirmation
The goal of becoming a confirmed member is to make the leap from your parents faith to your own, learning what it means to become an adult Christian. This two-year program studies Martin Luther, the catechism, and the old and new testaments. Additional fellowship and servant events as scheduled.
Men's Breakfast Group
The pastors lead a conversation around next Sunday’s scriptures. Everyone orders off the menu. Come when you can and it is fine if you need to leave before 8 am.
Preschool
This Christian preschool is open to the public. Through a warm and accepting environment, we provide trained teachers showing Christian love so that children can creatively explore their expanding world and set the stage for a lifelong love of school and learning.
Teachers: Bev Watson (Director) and Jennifer McDonald
Sunday Adult Forum
A variety of topics are covered ranging from in depth looks at Bible lessons, current event discussions, and happenings at OSLC. The schedule is printed monthly in the Signal and each Sunday in the bulletin.
Sunday Church School
Christian education for young people. Teachers are parents or adult members of the congregation who volunteer. Any child can simply show up at their class. Grade levels are marked outside the classrooms. When a parent becomes a member, their child is automatically added to the roster.
