Book Club
The OSLC Book Club was started in 1999. We meet the third Monday of most months @ 7p.m. with some exceptions – we do not meet in November, and we meet the first Monday of December. Our book club is hosted by different members throughout the year, and our books are chosen by consensus. We read fiction and nonfiction, classics and best sellers – gaining new perspectives, and stepping into new worlds all the time. While what we read may not be overtly Christian, we find that as we read the core of who we are as Christians is tested, challenged and reinforced in significant ways.
You are welcome to join us at any time. A collection of past book club books have been donated by our members and can be found in the library. More information about the book club can be found in the Signal and the weekly bulletin.
